The competitive nature and team spirit of the members has been rewarded recently as we had the honour of being the winners of the Bucks Shield 2022, and of the Bronze Division Scratch League. We were also delighted to support one of our ladies to her victory as County Seniors Champion.
Activities away from the course include Bridge Drives, games afternoons and fashions shows, as well as many social functions organised by the club.
The Ladies' Captain helps to support the feeling of community within the section with her regular newsletters and Prizegiving get togethers. We support a different charity each year and all collaborate to give our time and ideas to fundraising endeavours.

" The best decision I made was joining GX golf club - I was a little apprehensive at first, being fairly new to the game and having little idea of what to expect from being a member of a golf club. However, I didn't need to be concerned, the ladies made me feel so welcome. Playing golf at GX gives me exercise, fresh air and a sense of belonging, not to mention good company in the bar after golf."

Gerrards Cross has one of the strongest and largest Ladies sections in the county, which prides itself on sporting behaviour, friendliness and inclusivity.
Qualifying or fun competitions are held on Tuesday mornings throughout the year; these are supported with fields of between 60 and 80 ladies. There is a well attended roll up on Thursday mornings where light hearted and novel team games are enjoyed. Weekend Medals and Stableford Competitions are offered on a regular basis.
The Ladies section enjoys a busy schedule of friendly matches against other local clubs, which are a great opportunity to play different courses and meet new people. We also arrange away days and away stays during the year. Several knock-out competitions take place during the summer months, and a few during the winter. There are many opportunities to play mixed competitions and matches throughout the year.
